What Healing Crystals are Self Cleansing?  And What does cleansing crystals mean? 

I remember when I started to learn about healing crystals - all of the information was so overwhelming and all of the websites were totally archaic.  The Crystal Boutique has put together our favorite crystals that are self cleansing and the crystal jewelry that will cleanse itself.  When it comes to healing crystals - they can travel a few miles or they can travel across the world to get to you - so we do believe ALL healing crystals should be cleansed upon first receiving them.  So How do you cleanse your crystals and crystal jewelry when it first arrives? 

How to cleanse crystals when you first get them (and continue reading to see what crystals are self cleansing!): 

When your healing crystals arrive, they've possibly been through a few different hands (whoever packed them to whoever delivered them to your door) - that's a lot of energy built up into your precious crystal.  So yes, you should absolutely cleanse it even if it is self-cleansing when your crystal arrives.  

1.  Cleanse with water (if it is not a salt based crystal) - run the crystal under water and imagine the water washing away the built up energy from all of the other hands that have come across it.  You can even dip the crystal in the ocean to cleanse it.

2.  Candle Smudging to cleanse a crystal is another way to cleanse your healing crystal when it arrives to you.  This just means you can light a candle and run the crystal through the light of the candle.  As you do this candle smudging ritual, imagine it being cleansed of all other energy.

4.  Put YOUR Intention into your crystal - think of it as a fresh clean slate for manifesting your dream life or a reminder to RELAX every time you pick up your calming crystal.
